POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job purpose

 

The Retail Business Consultant manages and develops his/her sector with the aim of building a balanced partnership relationship with the members of the franchise network.

You will ensure the achievement of quantitative and qualitative development objectives and support franchisees in the management, development, and optimisation of their outlets.

 

 

Main responsibilities / Key result areas :

 

Development:

  • Optimising franchisee purchases policy in line with the First Stop guidelines.
  • Implementation of the network tools, advertising, and promotional campaigns to optimise the sales.
  • Helping the partner to define a pricing and promotional strategy.
  • Execute a prospecting plan to expand and strengthen the network.
  • Monitoring that the First Stop offer remains in line with market expectations.

Customer relations:

  • Visit existing customers on a regular base and identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Assist the partner with analyses and market information.
  • Consistently share information, opportunities, and actions to further develop the network.
  • Actively approaching end customers to generate additional sales and new customers for our partners.

 

Communication internal/external:

  • Gather market information and communicate towards Business Development Manager.
  • Consistent sharing of changes related to agreements, visits, actions, …
  • Close collaboration/ contact with First Stop back office and suppliers.

 

Marketing & promotion

  • Support promotions, campaigns and incentives.
  • Close collaboration with marketing departement

 

Required capabilities & experience

 

  • Education: Higher education
  • Professional experience within the automotive or a related relevant industry as a 1st working experience
  • A first experience in a position as sales representative or a related commercial role
  • Strong communication skills, commercial & social skills
  • Good negotiator
  • Profit driven
  • Gives proof of autonomy & initiative
  • Customer minded
  • Proactive & hands-on
  • Excellent level of French and Dutch
  • Good knowledge of English
