Financial Analyst Manufacturing

Job purpose
As a Business Analyst within our Manufacturing Finance teams, you have a very good understanding of the overall business organisation and its various processes and how they are interlinked, including all internal policies and procedures, external legal requirements and their internal customer’s individual business processes and their needs. You handle all assigned tasks independently with a strong focus on controlling the quality and efficiency of your work to meet the customer’s requirements and analyse all problems, either resolving them directly or making detailed suggestions and proposals to her/his managers on how to handle some of the very complex ones.
You have a good understanding of ERP system, BI reporting solution, and Dashboarding. Having exposure to SAP and its reporting/ dashboarding solution is a plus.
You participate in and take an active role in projects and various ad hoc assignments, using your technical and business knowledge and analytical skills to help plan, initiate and execute such work. You also support your managers, on request, in other tasks.
Main responsibilities
The ideal candidate will work close with the head of Manufacturing Finance as part of the day to day activities. He / She will also be a link with other Finance teams in Manufacturing locations. Main Responsibilities include
- Monthly Closing and Reporting Analysis for Manufacturing Mgmt as well as Upper Management.
- COGS Rolling Forecast and Budget Coordination through interaction with Manufacturing Plants and other depts.
- Support CapEX Consolidation Process for Actuals, Budget, and Forecast, Mid-term Plan.
- Responsible of Manufacturing Financial Data warehouse.
- Drive Development and Implementation of Finance Excellence Initiatives, Capex Management, Finance Performance Dashboards and Manufacturing BI Projects.
- Work with Standard Cost and Transfer Price Maintenance (Factories and Other Interco Sources)
- Support to EMIA Plants in different activities, and actively promote standardization of activities.
- Support Manufacturing organization in preparing business cases, cost benchmarking exercises, P&L impact analysis, capex evaluations, and ad hoc analysis thus empowering Manuf. to productive business decisions.

Experience
Education: Ideally Master level in Finance and Accounting, or any other Business degree
Experience: You benefit from minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an international environment. Experience in a matrix organization is an asset. You have a good understanding of General Ledger processes, and overall business organization and processes, including the interconnections between them. Manufacturing environment experience is a plus
Specific behavior: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work with considerable amount of data input, excellent problem solving (problem identification, analysis and propositions of solution), team player. You can identify and make improvement proposals and implement them. You are well organized and able to work under time pressure and flexible to work with different teams.
IT knowledge: Excellent Excel & Access, experience with SAP, SAC, BW and, BPC are a plus.
