Operational Excellence Lean Manager:
The core function of an operational excellence lead in Bridgestone’s vision is to improve and optimize operational processes and procedures within an organization to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. This involves identifying areas of improvement, analyzing data and metrics, developing and implementing solutions, and continuously monitoring and measuring progress to ensure sustained success.
The operational excellence lead works closely with various departments within the organization to identify and address process-related issues that may impact the quality services, customer satisfaction, or overall business performance.
You will report directly to the DC Manager.

Main responsibilities:
- Driving a Lean culture within the Zeebrugge organisation
- Develop a lean culture within the organisation to embed in our DNA.
- Provide training to ensure a shared understanding or knowledge of Lean principles, tools, and techniques.
- Foster use of lean methodology.
- Operational excellence related tasks
- Conducting analyses of existing processes, procedures, and systems to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects.
- Establishing metrics and performance indicators to measure progress towards operational excellence goals and objectives.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive buy-in and support for operational excellence initiatives.
- Continuously monitoring and analyzing performance data to identify opportunities for further improvement.
- Project related tasks
- Identification of new opportunities
- ROI calculation and delivering business cases
- End to end management of projects
- Management of timing, budget and resources
Required capabilities

Experience
- Bachelor degree in IT, Supply Chain, Management, Engineering or equivalent by experience
- Proven track record (> 3 year) in operational excellence & Lean practioner roles
- Knowledge of ERP and WMS
- Management of mid/large-size projects
Languages / Others
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluent in Dutch & English
