Job purpose

Bridgestone EMEA is embarking on its S/4 HANA Business Transformation. In this regards our Information Technology organization is increasing its internal capacity and capabilities. We are currently actively looking for SAP Associate Delivery lead that will work closely with SAP delivery lead (2 year - Ph.1 - + 1,5 year - Ph.2 -).

Started as an IT initiative our S/4 HANA project has evolved into a broader business process transformation with ambition beyond the initial scope. We are looking at a greenfield implementation targeting simplification, harmonization, implementation of best practices and reduced TCO.

As a member of the IT Project Delivery team, you will report directly to our S/4 HANA Delivery  Manager for the duration of the project.

 

As a key member of the IT Project Delivery team, at completion of this first major milestone, you will continue leading our major SAP transformation programs including roll outs and extension of functionalities that support our Digital transformation agenda.

The position is based in EMIA, reporting line is based in our Brussels Headquarter , where you will get the opportunity to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment with a passion for excellence, along with peers and business stakeholders located across Europe, CIS, Middle East and overseas 3rd-party partners.

Many of the daily activities at Bridgestone are supported by tools selected as part of the digitalization path of the company. TEAMs meetings or remote access to systems are essential components of our working tools allowing us to communicate with different teams and getting synchronized.

 

Main responsibilities:

You deliver the IT part of projects (on time, cost, quality), in close partnership with SAP Delivery Lead and stakeholders

You develop a project delivery approach complying with Bridgestone EMEA’s IT Solution Delivery Framework (SODA – Solution Oriented Delivery Architecture), monitor progress vs. plan

You will actively interact with our IT Partners

You manage risks and changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.

As part of the Project Delivery Team, you actively contribute to the evolution of the Project Delivery Framework

Required capabilities

  • SAP ECC technical and functional expertise (main modules IM/SD/MM/Master data)
  • SAP S/4 HANA, knowledge of the new data Model such  as Business Partners (BP)
  • ABAP coding/debugging Capabilities
  • Knowledge on IDOCs , Distribution Models, ALE, RFC,…
  • Basic SAP Basis knowledge (Enhance Pack, service pack, read SAP early-watch reports / recommendations)
  • Understanding of Batch job scheduler concepts
  • Experience in Data Migration is a must (knowledge of Data Migration Cockpit, Syniti is a plus)
  • Solution Manager knowledge is a plus

 

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: Master degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • ~ 10-year experience, compensation matching experience and track record.
  • At least 2 complete project cycle including support organization.
  • Agile project management experience and knowledge of SAP Activate methodology is an asset
  • Experienced with working with outsourced solution and service delivery partners
  • Experienced with working with remote teams
