Job Purpose

Sweden is split into a number of local regions and the Area Sales Manager role is to take ownership of one of these regions. 

The role concentrates on selling into and managing business with local and regional fleets, vehicle dealers, distributors and franchise partners utilising the full Bridgestone, Firestone, other house brand and Retread tyre ranges in TBR, OTR and AG. In addition to this the promotion of the First Stop brand across the dealer network is a key function in the role


  • Actively selling all Bridgestone products and packages, fully understanding and selling on the features, advantages and benefits of each product

  • Working with dealers on local events, promotions, marketing and brand support

  • Arranging and conducting product training for new and existing dealers and haulage companies

  • To actively work to find and develop new business whilst building/maintaining relationships with existing tyre retail and local/regional haulage customers

  • Fully supporting Field Engineering in the processing of adjustment claims and other technical matters and to deal personally with Technical issues in the field wherever possible



  • You have a degree in economics or similar education or equivalent relevant work experience

  • You have solid experience in the tyre or automotive industry

  • You are used to travelling in the course of your duties and can be away from home, as the position involves travelling with overnight stays

  • You have good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office

  • You have excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills in Swedish and good knowledge in English

  • You have a strategic mindset with a practical mentality, you are creative, able to think out-of-the-box and flexible

  • You have a B driving licence
