POSITION DESCRIPTION

Role Summary:

Reporting to the Sales Manager – KSA (Riyadh, and Damam) based in Riyadh, you will be responsible for managing key markets to grow revenue and further develop our partners capabilities within the KSA region. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the sales and marketing plans with our partners, aligned with the overall BSMEA strategy and ambition. You will be responsible for ensuring overall sales performance and managing the relationship with senior management and sales teams within our partners, across key fleets, dealers and OEMs in your markets. The Area Sales Manager role is accountable for optimizing the profitability of BSMEA and its partners by defining and advocating the product range and mix, proposing the correct price positioning, deploying services and implementing the latest digital tools and commercial solutions (Total Tyre Care), to achieve organizational targets. This will include initiatives to ensure desired sell out volumes, partnering with colleagues in marketing, supply chain and technical, and delivering market intelligence through accurate and timely reporting. Responsible for Market information collection and building relationship with OEMs (for both PSR & TBR) You will also be responsible for maintaining the BSMEA premium position in line with the Bridgestone’s Code of Conduct, ensuring the correct contractual frameworks are executed and maintained, in addition to developing annual business plans in collaboration with our partners, enhancing approaches to market within your region.

Role Requirements:

  • Graduate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the tyre industry
  • Having a good a track record of successful commercial tire business development.
  • Strong negotiation skills & good interpersonal skills
  • Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business and identify new opportunities for the assigned set of countries.
  • Define, Agree and Implement business plan, commercial strategy with the distributors.
  • Ability to foster long- term collaborative relationships with both our partners and colleagues, you will thrive within a multicultural matrix environment working across diverse markets.
  • Strong negotiation skills & good interpersonal skills
  • Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business and identify new opportunities for the assigned set of countries.
  • Define, Agree and Implement business plan, commercial strategy with the distributors.
  • Knowledge of market/product/channels/ competition and pricing
  • Key Account Management
  • Optimize Profitability for the Distributor and BSMEA
  • Interaction with supply chain to achieve smooth flow of supply
  • Contribute to SBU market share and profitability and ensure Bridgestone/ Firestone and other subsidiary brand presence across all markets
  • Drive business towards long term solution contracts.
  • Promote Digitalization.
  • Strong in MS Office tools especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English & Arabic
  • Arabic and Engineering Degree would be an advantage
  • Travel regularly between Dammam and Riyadh.
