POSITION DESCRIPTION

 Job purpose

Market Technical Team BSMEA QM is the Central function of Regional Field Engineering dislocated in EMEA territory.

Our Function is working along four different streams: Product Performance Engineering, Market Intelligence, Technical Training and Sales Support.

Our Mission is to establish trust and loyalty with our customers in order to enhance Product and Service Value proposition, while we are collecting valuable and accurate market insights to enable successful  E2E Product Lifecycle.

Within Bridgestone Global Framework to move our company from Tyre Rubber to Sustainable Mobility Solution, Training Development and Delivery is key to Unify and improve competence skill model of Field Engineering Team.

Our ambition is to upgrade product/solution performance monitoring by early detection of market signal and enhance Technical explanation of our value proposition.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare technical training courses for BS dealers through FE network;
  • Provide effective technical training to the Field Engineering, keep them updated about new products/solutions and about all technical issues according to their needs, according to the Central function guideline;
  • Be constantly updated on the technical and technological innovations of the new product and solutions to ensure a high level of competence during the delivery of courses;
  • Assess the competence level of the Field Engineering Team, in accordance with the quality standards of Claim judgement Certification, promoting a continuous improvement of the respective performances;
  • Be part of Global Field Engineering Educational Group
  • Promote and evaluate new diagnostic tools to assess product/solutions performance
  • Contribute to the diffusion of the use of digital tools (toolbox, MTT. Dashboard, etc) on Product Performance monitoring
  • Promote and continuously update the product Warranty procedure.
  • Take care of the workshop and classrooms;
  • Cooperate with colleagues to facilitate team building;
  • Collaborate in the solution of real or potential problems (team working);
  • Ability to carry out training as F2F (classroom) or VCT (Web training);
  • Manage course participants according to the situations that arise daily during delivery, always ensuring a high quality of the service provided;
  • Make any changes to the course agenda, according to the training needs of the course participants and / or the timing available, while ensuring coverage of the topics covered by the course itself;
  • Maximize end customer satisfaction with the service provided (course delivery).

 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (second level);
  • Previous experience in the same position (automotive technical branch);
  • Knowledge of mechanics;
  • Good leadership skills for classroom management, as well as a technical background and an orientation to processes and problem solving;
  • Team working attitude and a great interest in the automotive/industrial branch;
  • Good computer skills: Windows, Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook);
  • Good listening skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Excellent result orientation;
  • Other: Basic knowledge of tire construction (welcome)
  • Language: Fluency in English, Spanish/French nice to have
