POSITION DESCRIPTION

Designed for young talents who want to take part in a development path full of learning opportunities, early responsibilities and networking moments, the program will allow to experience a collaborative and inclusive environment that will enable you to learn and collaborate with experienced and motivated team members.

During the program you will be supported by a tutor who will provide formal guidance and encouragement throughout your entire internship at Bridgestone. Your development is our goal, therefore you will have the opportunity to learn through training courses from Stanford University, LinkedIn Learning, and our internal Project Management and Technology Academies.  You will have a real impact on the Company, collaborating every day with experienced professionals and working on a specific project that will be assigned to you.

 

Job purpose

 

  • Understand key fundamental processes, systems and organization in the LSCM Planning areas
  • Understand main key cross-functional projects impacting LSCM environment
  • Evaluate some area of Planning functionality ( improve efficiency, streamline programs, or cut costs )
  • Help plan and design business processes and make recommendations for improvement using systems and data
  • Help launching new initiatives and address new projects or initiatives needed
  • Participating specific project and operational meetings playing an observer role: Provide input and ideas right after
  • Planning and coordinating some meetings (and one event, included budget exercise).
  • Create support materials to present her ideas; slide presentations, charts, graphs….
  • Write some Functional Requirements for a certain Process/System Improvement area.
  • Compile and presenting statistics
  • Perform studies or surveys , analyzing and presenting results in support of business planning operations
  • Writing some internal communications.
  • Review, update and propose modifications or enhancement of internship program

 

Job drivers

  • Identify and explain potential improvements

 

 

Main focus on the below RMP related areas;

 

  • Gross requirement Calculation
  • Production planning input and consolidation process/files for different categories (tyre, compound, bladder) for both regular and trial specs;
    • Existing specs availability and upcoming new specifications for both tyres and compounds
    • Material Master data maintenance in OMP ( Tech codes, SAP Codes, Spec codes)
    • Data translation tables maintenance in OMP
    • Bill Of Material explosion run (and result) in OMP based on consolidated production inputs and Master Data
    • Validation of outputs versus different inputs and data sources
    • Reports and KPI’s related to both gross requirements

 

  • Reports and KPIs related to Net Requirements ( Operational Planning ) – High level
  • SAP MRP analysis
  • E2E Raw Material codification Lifecycle

 

Job Position Requirements

  • Degree in Data Engineering or Data Science
  • Experience with Microsoft Office / Data systems will be plus
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Speak fluent English / Spanish will be a plus

Required capabilities
