Internship - R&D Engineer Commercial Tire Development

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

Being part of the Commercial New Product Development department you will be asked to support the development of a novel methodology for prototype selection based on data coming from the Market Evaluation. Specifically, perform the validation of the methodology, interacting with senior team members and other departments to assess capabilities and limitations of the approach and help identifying the next development directions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather all the available data connecting different sources of information
  • Arrange and handle complementary testing campaign
  • Analyse experimental and simulation data comparing current and new methodology

 

Requirements:

  • Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Analytical skills, Logic Thinking, Problem solving and mechanism understanding mindset;
  • Logic Thinking, attitude to learn and team-working with strong communication skills;
  • Driven to results and synthesis oriented, motivated, agile, collaborative;
  • Digital mindset: solid knowledge of MS Office package; Previous experience with FEA commercial software knowledge is an added valued;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
