Internship - Digital Engineering

Job Purpose

6 months internship supporting Tire Models, Vehicle/DiL Simulations group.

The Candidate will be part of the R&D Digital Engineering – Virtual Tire Development Team, focusing her/his activities on:

  • Supporting the implementation on hard real-time machines of in-house tools devoted to the automatic execution of vehicle simulations.
  • Implementing tools and methodologies to facilitate, enhance and automate the generation and management of parametric vehicle models based on actual data (e.g. K&C, Masses, inertias, etc.) in VI-CRT environment.
  • Supporting the automated management of co-simulation environments VI-CRT / Matlab-Simulink to run complex subsystems
  • Supporting the optimization of innovative and advanced methodologies to manage  numerical tire models for vehicle simulations (MF-Tyre, MF-SWIFT, FTire, CDTire, etc.).
  • Contributing to the deployment of vehicle and driving simulation solutions, to support virtual tire development and objective / subjective virtual assessment.

Job requirements


  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering.
  • Goal-oriented, motivated, creative and collaborative. Able to work within teams with strong communications skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink.
