Job Purpose

This intern main role will be to bring value to R&D digital tools development through his/her strong engineering background. The intern will be supporting hands-on development of digital twin platform in BSEMIA R&D.

Core Responsibility & Working relationship

The intern will work in Digital Engineering – Real Time &Vehicle Modelling group and will be involved in the following activities:

  • Establish and integrate a process to generate tire modal models by FEM to be provided to OEMs and used in vehicle simulations

 

Job requirements

Technical background

  • Master Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering (or any other related field)

Languages

  • Fluent English required

Core competency skills

  • High level skills in Finite Element Analysis
  • Strong Knowledge of Modal Analysis
  • Solid Object Oriented Programming skills
  • Abaqus knowledge (Nastran is a plus)
  • Python programming skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools ‐ Excel
  • Agile development paradigm knowledge is a plus

  • Team-work ability
