INTERNSHIP - R&D Junior Project Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION

This is a Junior Project Manager internship and requires a dynamic person who can collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members in order to successfully guide the execution of an assigned project in the R&D scope and interdisciplinary context.

 

We expect the below being stretched but achievable target competences along the project initiation, planning and execution.

 

Project Leadership:

  • Guide a cross functional project team in a dynamic environment and across multiple workstreams to identify options and execute the best business solutions/propositions.
  • Facilitate communications among the stakeholders to enable informed decision making.

 Facilitation & Risk Management:

  • Engage teams in healthy debate/conflict resolution, and deliver team aligned option business solutions.
  • Proactively escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders, supporting the identification of tactical and achievable mitigation and contingency plans.

 Project Execution:

  • Develop, manage and maintain up-to-date timelines inclusive of all critical milestones, key interdependencies, etc. while applying appropriate scheduling techniques
  • Monitor status and execution; report timely updates via templates, dashboards and update forms; and develop agendas, minutes, metrics, etc. for the teams
  • Deliver transparent, timely and effective verbal and written communication to teams, stakeholders and appropriate levels of the organization

 

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • Studies in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive) or a related discipline
  • Very good oral, written, presentation and communication skills
  • Orientation capabilities in cross-functional teams collaboration
  • Digital mindset: Ability to consider new digital tools/software application to process design
  • Language: Fluency in English
  • Learning Agility
  • Computer: Very good MS Office package knowledge

Preferred:

  • Project management knowledge
  • Process design knowledge
