Job Purpose
We are looking for a Finite Element Analyst reporting directly to the Head of Predictive Solutions Team in the Digital Engineering Department. This is a Local/regional/EMIA role, based in Rome (Italy).
You will be involved in the definition of a snow model for finite element analysis, also collaborating with testing engineers and subject matter experts to accomplish this task: the aim is to have a full procedure to create (or translate from existing models) a snow model to be applied in tire performance finite element analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Literature review regarding available models
• Translation of existing FE snow models (into different solver\in different models)
• Definition of further tests required for a complete material characterization
• Implementation and validation of the final model
Requirements:
• Master Degree In Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering
• Languages skills: Italian, English
• Experience: Recent Graduate (<1 year)
• Technical Knowledge:
o FEA (Abaqus\LS-Dyna\Hyperworks) is mandatory
o Design Exploration (iSight or HyperStudy) is an asset
o Matlab\Python is an asset
o Inelastic\Plasticity Theory knowledge is an asset
