POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Logistics Intern reporting directly to the Logistic Planning Team Leader. This is a local role, based in Poznań SSC.

You will be expected to have a good level of understanding internal policies and procedures and their customer’s needs and to handle all assigned tasks with a strong focus on the quality and efficiency of their work to meet their customers’ requirements and be compliant.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring service delivery for all logistics processes in accordance with performance / quality standards, legal and customs procedures and customer requirements with supervision & guidance from the LSCM Planning Team Leader
Assist in ensuring that logistics processes and all operating procedures are clearly defined, up-to-date and documented
Timely execution of customer’s orders considering tires availability, DOT, customers’ requirements, transport capabilities and other circumstances including ensuring proper documentation for shipments
Organizing deliveries on time, plan shipments, considering priorities and special requirements, provides information to warehouses on how to prepare / load the goods
Cooperation with other Teams and external providers Customs Agencies, Freight Forwarders in order to ensure timely and effective tasks execution
Handling claims and returns in accordance with the procedure. DOT requirements management
Prepares cyclical reports and operational files. Prepare and register departmental process indicators
Creates and modifies procedures in the area of LSCM in accordance with the applicable systems, standards and quality norms with the supervision of LSCM Planning Team Leader
Supporting the Internal or External audit processes

Requirements:

Availability: min.30 hours per week
Education: Bachelor / Engineer with international trade, logistics profile (only during studies)
Experience: previous internship within logistic area will be advantage
English – basic
Microsoft Office, especially Excel (as an advantage)
Internal motivation, accuracy, good cooperation, communication skills and work organization
Effective verbal and written communication skills & Ability to work in a team environment
Self-development & ability to learn new things. Adaptability & Flexibility
