Job Purpose  

We are looking for a  Talent & Development Professional, reporting directly to the SW HR Director. This is an Iberia role (Spain & Portugal)  to support the South West Region BS Business  based in Madrid. 

You will be responsible for providing HR support to the Sails & Retail areas maximizing the synergies of the region. Supporting the growth of the business and covering all aspects of the Talent & Development agenda managing the end to end responsibility for the Sails area and in full alignment with Bridgestone group objectives. 



  • Work across multiple areas of staffing/recruiting including Recruitment processes (job posting on digital platforms, Candidate evaluation and screening management of selection providers, assisting managers with interviews etc).  

  • Promoting the organization’s image as a desirable place to work. 

  • May represent the organization at employment fairs, participating in campus recruiting activities, etc. 

  • Coordination of the Onboarding process and follow-up of new hires. 

  • Support to business managers in talent and performance management processes. 

  • Proposal of specific development programs for the sales area in soft skills training. 

  • Talent development and career plans in coordination with the regional HR team. 

  • Point of contact with Regional HR department, implementing and executing policies and  procedures of the region's global HR policies 

  • Implementation of engagement and wellbeing programs in offices and workshops. 

  • Incident resolution, employee support. 

  • Participate in other development projects in the area. 

  • Developing and providing HR related training (material creation, selecting appropriate methodology and vendors, monitoring training effectiveness, etc.) 



  • Extensive recruiting experience, preferably in Sales and Engineering environment.

  • Autonomous, creative, proactive and organized working style as well as the ability to manage multiple activities, prioritize tasks and react with appropriate urgency to situations which require a quick turnaround. 

  • Team player, positive and resilient. 

  • With a continuous improvement/ operational excellence mindset 

  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and presentation skills 

  • Bachelor´s Degree complemented by other master´s degree or training related to Human Resources,  Talent Development,  

  • Proficiency in Spanish Fluency in English, also Portuguese is desirable.  

  • At least 5 years as Talent & Development Professional/ HR Generalist with strong knowledge of Talent acquisition/ Succession Plan/ Development.  

  • Proficiency in Office 365 & ideally SAP HR (EC / SuccessFactors), Beamery, Linkedin Recruiter
