POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Technical Administrator reporting directly to the MTT Lead Engineer, supervised by the Head Technical Administrator. This is a local role, based in Leamington.

You will take responsibility for ensuring that administration functions within the Technical team at Bridgestone UK Ltd are managed professionally, effectively and efficiently. Liaise and support the Technical Team, the Engineers, other departments within BSUK and the external customers.

 

Responsibilities:

By taking and making telephone calls and responding to e-mails or other queries, relating to all Bridgestone and Firestone products. To understand the features of the products, tyre technology and answer enquiries as first point of contact.

To assist in the providing of correct and relevant technical information to internal and external customers, while protecting and promoting the brand image.

To understand and support the warranty system and being able to clearly communicate the process to dealerships and customers.

To monitor and audit the service return collection system, liaising with the Contact Centre to resolve collection issues as required.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Education, Master, other certification: A Levels or equivalent
  • Languages skills: English
  • Experience (years): None required, training will be provided.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of, or interest in tyres a bonus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Well developed communication skills and being able to provide excellent customer service.
  • Articulate telephone manner.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel intermediate and SAP knowledge.
  • Good administration skills combined with the ability to prioritise your workload, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • To be able to work in an organised and methodical manner with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to retain and relay technical information.
