Finance & Pricing Analyst

Job Purpose
We are looking for a Finance & Pricing Analyst reporting directly to the Sales Administration Manager. This is a North region role, based in Warwick.
You will be responsible for the facilitation and control of all process flows relating the maintenance of pricing conditions and rebate agreements, ensuring all information and data is accurately recorded in SAP.
Ensure that rebate payments are made in line with contracts, internal compliance standards are adhered to and Company Policy and the Authority Schedule is followed.
To provide our customers (internal and external) with efficient and accurate service levels.
Key Tasks
- Management of the company’s rebate accruals and payments in SAP, ensuring compliance with policy, process and authority schedule.
- Process owner for Indirect rebate agreements, ensuring agreements are in place, claims through vendor invoice are approved with sufficient supporting documentation and accruals are sufficient
- Setting up regular rebate meetings with the sales team to track monthly, quarterly and annual rebate accrual rates
- Regular Reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts relating to rebate accruals. Highlighting possible shortfalls/over accruals to senior management.
- Journals are processed for the posting of accruals and payments timely and accurately.
- Resolution of all customer and internal queries relating to rebate agreements.
- Co-ordinate with Sales and Marketing to manage efficiently any New or Amendments to Campaigns or Customer Pricing Policy into BCT.
- Provide administration support to the business for internal systems owned by Finance used to facilitate pricing related processes.
- Manage price maintenance in SAP, ensuring the accuracy of information held, compliance with process and authority schedule.
- Manage promotion campaigns and spot sale pricing ensuring the customer is charged as agreed.
- Support the query controller in the resolution of Price Queries, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken.
Requirements:
- AAT or other recognised qualification preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communicator, written & verbal
- Numerative and be able work your way around a spreadsheet.
- 2 years + in a finance role preferred but not essential
- SAP, Excel and PowerPoint beneficial
- Problem solver, attention to detail and customer focused
