Job purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer, a spider in the web that will be responsible for advising on complex technical products, driving implementation and technology evaluation working with various teams internally (Sales/Development/Project Management) and externally (Partners/Clients). You will be part of the Middle East and Africa Strategic Partners Webfleet Solutions team, partners, and their fleet customers.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Sales Team Support:
    • Align in terms of products & processes with all the internal and external stakeholders, in special with the Project & Product Management teams;
    • Provide support to sales colleagues during the pre-sales and post-sales cycles including tender preparation and response;
    • Manage Partner trials of WEBFLEET and associated products. Working with sales colleagues to provide ROI case and summarize data captured;
    • Support colleagues to analyze complex partner technical requirements and make recommendations during the pre-sales cycle;
    • Provide technical expertise to partners implementation design, initial installation roll-out and configuration of Webfleet Solutions products;
    • Monitor product roll-out in partners and take corrective actions to guarantee smooth implementation in large environments and complex setups;
    • Help in the creation of product training strategies for partners and their customers;
    • Advise large partners in the setup of customer’s internal product support;
    • Training new starters of Webfleet Solutions Strategic Partners team;
    • Engage and collaborate with the regional Sales Engineers
  • Software & Hardware Integration
    • Technical contact for Partners for our hardware and APIs, with escalation to support teams;
    • Assisting partners with knowledge of communication methods such as GPRS, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, and NFC/RFID.
  • Field Support
    • Assist the Webfleet Solutions organization and key partners in resolving complex post-sales technical issues or escalated situations;
    • Provide on-site support or field testing on the request of Webfleet Solutions Customer Support or Development management for very complex technical issues
  • Marketing & Events
    • Collaborate with Marketing Managers and Office Administration teams to deliver national and international events/trade shows for partners;
    • Dealing with suppliers and partners for events/trade shows;
    • Responsible for all product demonstration hardware and displays for trade shows and events




  • A proven background in software and hardware support with an understanding of electronics and vehicle wiring/electrics. Experience within the telematics industry is helpful but not mandatory;
  • A positive and pro-active attitude towards tackling complex post-sales issues;
  • Passion for technical products in an ever-changing landscape;
  • Understanding of APIs, GPRS, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, and NFC/RFID technologies;
  • High level of demonstrating that you are a true team player;
  • Ability to conceptual work on a customer solution.;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluency in English, as well as Arabic / Indian is an additional benefit
  • Able to work autonomously with little supervision;
  • Availability to travel in the Middle East and African countries
