Bridgestone Middle East & Africa (BSMEA) operates from locations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, kenya and Ivory Coast. From these locations BSMEA covers 68 markets through 80 partners.

 

Role Summary:

This role is based in Dubai and reports into the LSCM Planning Manager, this role oversees short and mid-term planning, supporting the sales team in collecting customer orders and efficiently communicating with supplier partners. It involves analyzing variances in forecasts and supply plans, with a focus on process improvement for enhanced efficiency.

Responsibilities include facilitating and analyzing data for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, managing the supply plan to ensure alignment with demand forecasts, and optimizing warehouse assortment for local supply. The role also involves analyzing supply plan variances, supporting KPI reporting, and driving continual improvement across the supply chain.

Key Result Areas (KRA):

  1. Customer Demand Management:
    • Collecting and managing customer orders, supply allocation, and balancing supply/demand.
    • Coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to manage supply shortfalls and availability issues.
    • Setting and overseeing inventory targets and ensuring accurate materials planning.
  2. S&OP:
    • Facilitating the S&OP process with a focus on supply and inventory planning.
    • Reviewing and taking actions on supply-related issues, ensuring supplier alignment.
    • Improving forecast accuracy and planning inventory for warehouses.
  3. KPI Reporting & Data Management:
    • Achieving high levels of customer service through monthly contract deliverance, forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery.
    • Managing item and supplier master data and EMEA KPI reporting.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in a complex supply chain environment.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and analytical tools.
  • Strong expertise in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of advanced supply chain concepts and their financial impact (inventory turns, FC error/bias cash flow and working capital) is required

  • Fluent in English.
