POSITION DESCRIPTION

Bridgestone Middle East & Africa (BSMEA) operates from locations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco , Kenya and Ivory Coast. From these locations BSMEA covers 68 markets through 80 partners

Role overview 

To undertake role as future “Solution Consultant”.  Providing Bridgestone commodities/services to maximize market share, collect the customer and distribution needs and provide necessary solution.  In addition strong focus on sales support and activity to enhance business performance.

 

-The role is based in our Casablanca Morocco Offices

-Main market will be West Africa

 

Main responsibilities Technical & Sales

  • Fully understand and be able to explain specifics concerned to Customer and OTR department
    • Product line up
    • Market trend & research (demand/ Share, Competitors information, price positioning)
  • Periodically visit to priority customers, conduct technical activities and collecting all sorts of available technical data in the field.
  • Propose New Concept based on Data & progress Field Evaluation.
      • Performance monitoring
      • Scrap survey
      • Inventory check at customer site
      • To make new product concept 
      • To conduct Field Evaluation 

Due to maximize customer value and customer satisfaction, provide solution to the customer, by giving advice.

  • Suggest the proper operation
  • Suitable tire product usage.
  • Tire ordering and stock control.
  • Delivery/ Logistic support
  • Payment management
  • Sales support and sales analysis
  • Report activities to Bridgestone MEA/ Bridgestone Japan in English on monthly basis, to have most efficient communication/logistics.
  • Willing to travel to mine sites/ other tire used site/ distributor office in West Africa once or twice / month (as required)
  • To undergo initial training in Dubai-Bridgestone MEA with future training in Bridgestone Japan.

 

Essential skills, experience and behaviors

 

  • English & French  – written and spoken
  • Expereince in Automotive Industy: Minimum 1-2 years
  • Experience in Mining or Construction Machinery industry is also advantage.
  • Engineering Knowledge / Qualification
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) is a must.
