Job purpose


Accountable and responsible for the quality of the products produced by his team. Ensure that the conveyor is running smoothly.


Main responsibilities


  • Complete daily safety checks
  • Start up and shutdown of conveyer belt
  • Ensure stock and equipment is ready for production
  • Release tyre from the curing machine
  • Rotate tyre and trim tread vents and trim shoulder flash
  • Release tyre to conveyor belt




  • Grade 12
  • Valid Forklift licence
  • Drive & operate the forklift in a safe and competent manner
  • Adhere to all safety- and work standards
  • Practice good housekeeping
  • Comply to all legal requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the tyre manufacturing and automotive industry
