Job purpose
We are looking for a female Industrial Engineer who's core responsibility will be to identify, design and improve production processes with the purpose of increasing productivity, eliminating wastefulness, reducing costs, and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Main responsibilities
- Analyzing production processes, equipment, data, and related information.
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness analysis and optimisation.
- Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Optimising process flow and First-In-First-Out systems
- Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
- Designing control systems to minimize costs and production issues.
- Developing design and production standards and standard operating procedures in cooperation with management and user personnel.
- Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
- Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.
- Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.
Required capabilities
- Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Documentation and organization skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
Education:
- BEng/ BSc Industrial engineering
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Experience:
- 8 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Automotive industry experience will be advantageous.
- In depth technical understanding of work involved.
