Testing Technician

Job purpose
As an Indoor Test Operator, you are responsible for the Indoor Test execution.
Your tasks will range from test/bench/equipment preparation, to test execution according to procedures and finally data analysis/report preparation.
The job is organized in 3 shifts (morning, afternoon, night).
The aim is to provide the requestor the needed experimental results, according to the selected methods, assuring results reliability through Quality mindset.
You will also develop and share on field view of testing issues and proactively propose improvement points about both Quality and Safety.
You will support the shift leader and the Team in quality monitoring, test methods upgrade and machines first level troubleshooting, then cooperating in CFT with all the other Testing functions for Testing Projects Implementation.
Main responsibilities:
Indoor Test implementation
- Ensure Test execution according to schedule, Safety rules and Quality standard
- Tire assembly preparation, machine set up according to test purpose
- Data analysis and reporting using IT dedicated tools
- Report and share problems or issues
Safety Improvements
- Contribute to Testing growth by taking charge of the assigned activities aimed to improve Safety, following supervisor indications
Quality Improvements
- Contribute to Testing growth by taking charge of the assigned activities aimed to improve Quality following supervisor indications
Operational Excellence Improvements
- Contribute to Testing growth by taking charge of the assigned activities aimed to improve Operational Excellence following supervisor indications
- Ensure CFT participation

- Ensure handling of Company tools in respect with Safety, Cleanses and order
Required capabilities and education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Attitude for manual operations (mounting, fitting, bolting, etc.)
- Passion for automotive and Testing
- Methodic attitude
- Attitude to work in shift
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and flexibility
- Excellent Safety mind and Quality driven attitude
- Strong attention to details and technical aspects
- Proactive attitude
- Problem solving skills
- Willing to learn
- English basic knowledge is a plus
Technical Capabilities
- Understanding of elementary Physics (concept of Force, Moments, Mass, Velocity, Accelerations, Pressure, Temperature, Heat, etc)
- Basic knowledge of measurements (accuracy, repeatability, reproducibility, equipment, transducers, statistics, etc.) is a plus
- Basic MS Excel skills
Experience
- Previous experience in Testing/Experimental context are very welcome
