Mission of R&D System Engineering Consumer Replacement Industrialization & Modularity team is to: secure portfolio availability on time on schedule, deliver modular products and contribute effectively to Zero-Trial and Industrialization Excellence visions by actionable steps that define the portfolio of initiatives, methods and tools for lean scale-up and product capability expansion.
Responsibilities
You, as Engineer of System Engineering - Consumer Replacement Industrialization & Modularity team, will be responsible for:
- NPI milestones completion, from design to scale & qualify, by supporting CFT discussions and taking necessary actions to provide expected deliverables (i.e. scale-up risk assessment, industrialization models, scale-up risk management)
- Industrialization operations: technical documentation preparation, industrialization trials follow-up (data analysis, countermeasures feedback), interacting with stakeholders within & outside R&D, issue mass production specifications to secure execution as per plan.
- Critical cases design review, to tackle specific or chronical issue during industrialization interacting with plant TS and System Engineering process development team.
- Perform gap analysis, leveraging on data gathered during industrializations, through PDCA & 5why approach, to develop and feed kaizen visions of working processes and/or properly feedback stakeholders upstream & downstream
- Products portfolio dashboard maintenance and management
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education, Master, other certification:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience (years):
- Experience in tire design (or automotive) is a plus
Technical Skills:
- Problem solving attitude and PDCA mindset
- IT applications and programming: very good proficiency on MS Excel, knowledge of relational databases, Power BI and Python, CAD software previous experience is a plus.
- Digital mindset: ability to develop and/or apply new digital tools to support decisions is a plus
- Presentation skill
