Job Purpose 

You will develop Consumer Tyres for European and MEA markets as part of an integrated project team, embracing a strong project management discipline and facing technical challenges in order to meet the future needs. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Contributes to the technical development of tyres for delivery to consumer markets. 

  • Contributes to the process of benchmarking, designing prototypes, planning and analyzing of test results, preparing design review documentation. 

  • Contributes to define and manage the project schedule and GANTT. 

  • Prepares appropriate documentation for assigned projects. 

  • Provides his/her contribution to the preparation of Technical Meetings with the BSEMEA functions. 

  • Manages assigned tasks with high level of proficiency and autonomy. 

 

Qualifications & Experience Required  

Education, Master, other certification: 

University degree in engineering (mechanical, materials design, industrial engineering and equivalent) 

 

Experience (years): 

Previous experience in the tyre / automotive industries might be a plus. 

 

Technical Skills: 

Very good MS Office packages and CAD systems, good CREO / PRO-E capabilities. 

Digital mind-set: Ability to develop and/or apply new digital tools/software to change business or processes. 

Statistic and simulation tools, basics of material characterization, basic knowledge of tyre construction are a nice to have. 

 

Languages Skills: 

Fluency in English. 

 

Soft/Behavioral Skills: 

Teamworking. 

Project management. 

Problem solving. 

Learning skills and Change Agility.
