R & D Laboratory Technician
About the Role
Job Purpose:
Joining a dynamic and motivated Material Laboratory team, the MATERIAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN, with a Technical background and the desire to support analysis, investigation, research and development, will be involved in a variety of laboratory-based activities within Mixing/Vulcanization/Preparation Lab.
The candidate will carry out preparation, sampling, measuring, recording results. He will provide all the required technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively, while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
•preparing, mixing and vulcanizing specimens and samples;
•recording results to present to supervisors/senior colleagues and to lab customers;
•carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses;
•maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment,
•ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced;
•using computers;
•following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks;
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education, Master, other certification:
• Technical High school diploma minimum requirement (e.g. Mechanical; Chemistry; Informatics/Electronics)
Experience (years):
• Previous experience in similar role is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
-Good manual skills
-Basic technical-scientific Knowledge-Ability to understand procedures and test methods
-Basic knowledge and use of Office (Excel and Outlook mainly)
-Ability to develop/Issue operating procedures and test methods is a plus
-Knowledge of statistics and data elaboration is a plus
• Languages Skills:
-Italian
-English
• Soft/Behavioral Skills:
-Flexibility: availability to work in different shifts and laboratory areas: Preparation, Vulcanization, Physical Tests and Chemical Tests
-High interpersonal skill and team working attitude
Salary range: € 30240.59 - 36500
The salary range is based on gender-neutral criteria: applicable CCNL requirements, responsibilities, working conditions and market benchmarks for the role and location. Final compensation will be determined based on gender-neutral criteria: experience, skills, and internal equity.
