ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Objective


In El Prat, Barcelona, we are looking to hire a passenger vehicle mechanic who will carry out tire installation, maintenance, wear control, diagnostics, as well as both quick and advanced mechanical services.

First Stop and Elma are subsidiaries of the Bridgestone Group in Spain. Together, we manage a network of approximately 46 service centers across the country, offering comprehensive automotive maintenance solutions.

First Stop specializes in tires and vehicle maintenance services, serving both private customers and professional fleets. Our offering includes a complete range of products and services, including electronic diagnostics, preventive maintenance, tire replacement, brakes, suspension, timing belts, clutches, air conditioning systems, and oil changes. We also have extensive experience in tire management for both light and heavy vehicles.

Committed to quality and safety, at First Stop we work every day to deliver efficient, professional, and customer-oriented service.

Responsibilities:
• Installation and repair of passenger car tires.
• Maintenance, quick and full-service mechanical work: oil changes, brakes, shock absorbers, wheel alignments, timing belts, clutches.
• Advanced mechanical work: cylinder heads, engine diagnostics, and electrical systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education, Degrees, Other Qualifications:
• Mid-Level Vocational Training

Experience (years):
• At least 3 years of experience

Technical Skills:
• Driver’s license
• Proven experience in the following functions:
• Maintenance
• Tires
• Mechanics
• Diagnostics
• Desirable: Knowledge of trucks

Social Skills:
• Commitment to quality
• Teamwork

Languages:
• Spanish
