ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

The Transportation Data Analytics Intern will support day‑to‑day analytical and project‑based activities within the Primary Transportation team. The role offers hands‑on exposure to transportation operations, systems administration, performance management, and process improvement initiatives. Through collaboration with internal stakeholders, the intern will contribute to efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement, while gaining practical experience in transportation and supply chain management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Document processes and reporting digitalization in line with applicable systems, standards, and KPIs
  • Support data analysis and create presentations for top management
  • Conduct PDCA and 5W analysis
  • Support transport teams in daily operations and translate business needs into data solutions
  • Support ongoing team projects by proposing improvements and identifying opportunities
  • Collaborate with other teams within LSCM

 

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Engineering

 

Experience

  • Previous experience is a plus

 

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Office Package
  • Power BI is a plus

 

Language Skills

  • Proficient in English
  • Other European languages are a plus

 

Soft / Behavioral Skills

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detail‑oriented and accurate
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently across cross‑functional teams with diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to translate numbers into insights and present them clearly
