ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose
Operational, Import, NPI & Tactical Planning Consumer teams are part of the Logistics & Supply Chain Planning department, responsible for the Master production plan of Bridgestone EU consumer plants on Operational & Tactical horizon (up to 18 months), for Import Planning and New Product Introduction processes. The team is looking for a new intern to support different activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting OPP & Tactical leaders in data analysis & monthly PowerPoint presentations to plants & top management.
  • Collecting data & issuing some of the key reports shared with top management and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting teams in key digitalization projects (i.e., reporting transfer to Power BI).
  • Documenting key processes in the Operational & Tactical Planning team.

 

As a Consumer Planning Intern, you will interact mainly with OPP & Tactical teams, but also with other stakeholders (plants, COE, tactical planning, distribution planning, demand planning, Sales, and Suppliers from other Bridgestone entities).

 

Qualifications & Experience Required

The successful applicant should have:

 

Education, Master, other certification:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain/Operations/Engineering.

 

Experience (years):

  • Advanced level in MS Excel & PowerPoint, experience with OMP/MS Access/VBA/PowerBI is a plus.

 

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Experience in using data analysis tools, e.g., Excel, Microsoft Business Intelligence, other relevant business information software.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

Languages Skills:

  • Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.

 

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to translate numbers into insights and present them to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Planned and organized approach in completing tasks.
