POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:

Commercial Planning Consumer team is part of Logistics & Supply Chain Planning department, being responsible for the Master production plan of Bridgestone EU Commercial (Products for Truck & Bus, Agricultural and Off-road vehicles) plants on Operational & Tactical horizon (up to 18 months).

The team is looking for a new intern to support different activities.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collecting data & issuing some of key reports shared with top management and other stakeholders;
  • Supporting teams in key projects (i.e. reporting transfer to Power BI);
  • Supporting teams to plan the import of products from other Bridgestone entities (Japan, Americas, Thailand, etc.) to Europe;
  • Document key processes in the Operational & Tactical Planning team;
  • Supporting OPP & Tactical leaders in data analysis & monthly Power Point presentations to plants & top management;
  • As Commercial Planing Intern he/she will interact mainly with OPP & Tactical teams in Commercial Planning, but also with other stakeholders (plants, COE, tactical planning, distribution planning, demand planning).

Competences to be acquired

  • Competency in using data analysis tools. e.g. Excel, Microsoft Business Intelligence, other relevant business information software;
  • Planned and organized approach in completing tasks;
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people with different personalities and backgrounds, Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
  • Ability to translate numbers into insights, and present them to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Detail-oriented and accurate;
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues;
  • Ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

Experience:

  • Degree level expected: Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain/ Operations/Engineering;
  • Advanced level in MS Excel & Power Point, experience with OMP/MS Access is a plus;
  • Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.
