Job Purpose
Enhance the business diversification in Bridgestone Retail through the introduction of new services and the implementation in full EMEA network of vehicle maintenance (beyond tyres)
Re-assess & contribute to the implementation of the Car Maintenance strategy with the support of local experts, enhancing our current positioning in line with EMEA Retail vision and Go-To-Market plans by country.
Forsee an adequate plan by country with 360° approach including:
- Study of the market potentials, competitors positioning and legal framework to properly introduce and manage maintenance/service operations in BS equities and franchisee.
- Analyze local needs in terms of training, technical supports, certifications in order to accelerate the business diversification and concretely support the local organization in developing the needed activities.
- Understand the business model and prepare a solid business case for the introduction/enhancement of services (P&L, ROI, …).
- Develop CVI offer (Complete vehicle Inspection) in all countries as the best offer to increase the revenues as well as customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work closely with Pricing department (Local and central) to assess and improve pricing management of parts and services related to parts.
- Collaborate with Marketing department to define and adequate plan to support the communication and promotion of mechanical services by country.
- Forsee an adequate procurement strategy as far as parts and equipments are concerned working closely with procurement team. Make sure that in each country we have right suppliers/tools and technical. information in order to be able to sell non tyre products.
- Collaborate with Fleet department to introduce Parts management in our Fleet contracts.
- Work closely with USA (West team) in order to take into account all the West guidelines in terms of strategy on business diversification (cvi, service ratio,…).
- Define and Monitor a set of kpis to drive, steer the results and take any corrective decision/action.
- Ensure Parts Product & Service Mix supporting the profit generation and net sales growth with both strategic and tactical plans in collaboration with local entities..
Main Responsibilities
- Assess each country vehicle maintenance market with prioritizing most relevant market for Bridgestone retail by working closely with local category managers/procurement/pricing to understand as well trends and needs.
- Develop Go to market strategy, aligned with Retail Vision , as far as business diversification/maintenance of vehicle is concerned.
- Support the Implementation of the maintenance activity according with retail strategy, in pre-defined countries with 360 approach:
- Business model and business case preparation.
- Legal & Safety framework (certification and all burocratic aspects, pos equipments,… ).
- Training plan and Sales Pitch.
- Marketing offer, trade and consumer marketing plan.
- Technical database offer (catalogue, timings,..).
- Tools for ordering non tyres products (autoprocure, external platform, access to technical db).
- Kpi’s dashboard with detailed follow up.
- Ensure a strong focus on “fast fit evolution” strategy and implementation, with priority on franchising countries.
- Coach and train local retail organization; develop internal competences and knowledge on different levels. Facilitate maintenance activities understanding for other functions, as well as value for Dealer (franchisee).
- Keep high focus and be very close to market reality visiting local hq, dealers and partners /suppliers.
- Promote and reinforce a culture of innovation, creativity and continuous improvement favorizing best practices sharing among countries.
Requirements
- University Degree with the major in Economics / Marketing / Management Engineering / Data science / Other relevant unless covered by strong experience & expertise.
- Strong automotive market dynamics knowledge and retail business knowledge, better if coming from autorepair (Fast Fit/auto centers networks)
- Advanced analytical skills - Precise and rigorous with high attention to details.
- Able to support strategic view creation and to translate in concrete action planning.
- Proactive, with full ownership, able to deal properly with senior management locally and at EMIA level.
- Effective Presentation skills to present at different level of Management.
- Innovative, project management skills
- People management, Teamwork and Organizational skills.
- IT Skills
- Office, in particular Powerpoint + Excel: advanced level
- Capability to handle different DB, System & Software
- Digital competencies: good level
- Languages
- English: fluent
- Any other EU language is a plus (French)
- Experience:
- The ideal candidate has 5-10 years’ experience minimum, preferably in industry of vehicle maintenance. This is a very big advantage for a candidate.
- Strong analytical skills together with ability to think strategically. Effective interaction and communication. Good potential for future roles within the Group.
