About the Role
Core Tire NPP PMO: The Project Manager Intern will execute New Tire projects by managing cross-functional teams (including R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, Sales). Under the lead of the Core Tire NPP PMO Manager and guided by an experienced Product Category Manager in the Consumer/Commercial Product team, the intern will drive new tire products through the conceptualization, development, industrialization, and commercialization phases according to Bridgestone's standardized working methodologies for Stage Gating and Project Management. The intern will orchestrate and align the efforts of various stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of their projects, securing timely launch, cost, and quality.
Regulations Compliance: The intern will support Regulation Compliance Portfolio analysis and EPREL Database management, including preparation and analysis of the portfolio of products in scope of new regulations or regulations updates. The intern will support the Regulation Compliance Manager for CFTs governance, ensure all products are accurately registered in the EPREL database, and provide support on labeling-related topics (EPREL, PowerApps, SAP software).
Additional activity: Monthly update of our Product Portfolio line-up based on the latest product status.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project processes for new Consumer and Commercial tires:
- Project Initiating: Identify stakeholders and project deliverables based on business requirements.
- Project Planning: Define project scope, develop a schedule, and identify risks based on Bridgestone's standardized methodology. Conduct kick-off meetings and get the plan approved.
- Project Executing: Lead the project team to achieve project deliverables, ensure continuous alignment via extensive communication and regular meetings with the team.
- Project Controlling: Control the schedule, monitor risks, and support continuous improvement of Bridgestone projects by analyzing and documenting lessons learned.
- Project Closing: Prepare documentation/deliverables, including Business Case, to obtain project acceptance at each gate review.
- Support Regulation Compliance Manager for the management of all Regulatory Projects.
- Utilize data analytics tools to extract, analyze, and interpret relevant data to support decision-making.
- Create interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights into Regulatory projects.
- Prepare monthly updates of the Product Portfolio line-up for Consumer/Commercial based on the latest product status.
Qualifications & Experience Required
The successful applicant should have:
Education, Master, other certification:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or engineering.
Experience/knowledge:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
- Basic SAP knowledge is a plus.
Technical/Functional Skills:
