Pricing Analyst

Job purpose
Bridgestone Europe is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join the HQ Pricing Team, which is responsible to define the pricing strategy for Europe and give the necessary guidelines and support to regions for successful execution, as well looks for continue improvement in pricing process and governance.
Given the cross-functional participation involved, the person will create and maintain relationships with different stakeholders (functions, teams, BU’s, regions and countries) in the organization.
The person maintains high ethical standards, using only appropriate methods consistent with Bridgestone values.
The Pricing Analyst will report to the Head of Pricing as part of the Pricing Team.
Main responsibilities:
- Analyze the market pricing trends within competitive landscape to give insights to enable better decision making and to support European List price design and preparation.
- Lead the key pricing intelligence activities: Coordinate B2B & B2C price intelligence and monitoring with external data providers and internal stakeholders, ensure data accuracy , compliance and follow up on price dashboard improvements.
- Create monthly pricing reports for all European regions and management in a clear, concise and actionable format so as to provide insights on price trends and execution of pricing strategy.
- Lead end-to-end pricing process for budget and rolling forecasts; including target setting, calculation of financial impact of price changes, providing timeline and assistance to region pricing managers and ad-hoc simulations to top management.
- Take part in Cross Functional teams for new product launches, as key project member responsible for setting the price target and providing assumptions taken into account in business case for new products.
- Update and maintain product price catalogs and ensure collaboration with regions and sales teams.
- Develop / Optimize tools to facilitate decision making for regular studies or daily business execution.
- Perform ad hoc projects as needed to meet near-term and long-term pricing objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Economics, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance.
- Min 2-3 years of relevant experience. Interest and knowledge on automotive and mobility trends, market dynamics of tire industry is plus.
- Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
- High analytical skills and passion for data and numbers with strong connection to sales , business and market environment.
