ABOUT THE ROLE

 Job Purpose

The Finance Analytics Intern will support day-to-day analytical and project-based activities within the Finance team. The role offers hands-on exposure to financial reporting, business performance analysis, dashboard development and process improvement initiatives. Through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, the intern will contribute to data-driven decision-making, reporting standardization, and continuous improvement while gaining practical experience in financial planning, performance management, and business analytics.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards and reports using applicable reporting and visualization tools.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and analytical reports for management and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track key financial and business KPIs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in the digitalization and automation of financial reporting processes.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance review activities through data analysis.
  • Collaborate with Finance and other business functions to improve reporting efficiency and decision-making processes.

 

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

 

Experience

  • Previous internship or project experience in finance, business analytics, reporting or data analysis is a plus.

 

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is a plus
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and financial performance metrics is a plus.

 

Language Skills

  • Proficient in English.
  • Other European languages are a plus.

 

Soft / Behavioral Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
