Job Purpose:

 

We are looking for an FP&A Analyst reporting directly to the EMEA Management Reporting Manager. This is an EMEA role, based in Bridgestone EMEA HQ.

You will be part of BSEMEA’s Group FP&A team that is responsible for the preparation of the P&L by segment, variance analysis and presentations that support major corporate decisions of the CFO, CEO, and the Management Board.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Preparation of P&L by segment and analysis on the profitability and operating expenses.
  • Production of the corresponding monthly and quarterly reports to be shared with the involved parties.
  • Taking part in the preparation of financial presentations and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly manufacturing variances and deferral model.
  • Production of variances reports (vs. Prior Year, vs. Budget, vs. Forecast) to provide the business with the visibility and information for decisions.
  • Liaising with Bridgestone Japan concerning management accounting and variance analyses.
  • Provide the financial overview of Bridgestone EMEA, generating insights which can be leveraged across the organization. 
  • Actively participating in various financial projects to improve the department capabilities.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the digital tools used by the different stakeholders inside the company.

 

 Requirements:

 

  • Education: A master’s degree in management, finance or accounting is preferred.
  • Languages skills: Fluency in English is required.
  • Experience: minimum 2-3 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, financial analysis or similar
  • Good understanding of accounting principles is desired.
  • Experience in a multinational manufacturing company is plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Advance knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and SAP is highly preferred. Strong proficiency in MS Office tools is required.
  • Soft Skills: The position requires candidates who have strong analytical and financial skills to work under time pressure and deadlines. The ideal candidates should have the ability to understand the complex matrix organization.
