Brand Activation & Sponsoring Manager

JOB PURPOSE:
Grow the Bridgestone brand is one of our key strategic priorities at Group level. One of the major pillar to work on it is our Brand activation which is today focusing on our Olympic Partnership.
The overall responsibility of the Brand Activation & Sponsoring Manager is to manage some of the Brand activation projects on the Brand Bridgestone and, with the support of the Head of Brand Activation & Sponsoring, to achieve the overall targets of implementing a comprehensive and integrated pan-EMIA (focus on Europe) Brand Activation and Sponsoring strategy based currently on the Global partnership with the Olympic Games, to support the BSEMIA group/regions in their overall MTP target achievement by implementing the tools and platforms selected.
In the perspective of Paris 2024 where BSEMIA is leading the Worldwide Games Operation, we are looking to replace one of the 2 Brand Activation & Sponsoring Manager.
It’s the job holders responsibility to be able to work independently on the given tasks and has the skills to interact with all stakeholders to maximize the output with a minimum of resources.
TASKS:
- Global Platforms: Olympic TOP Partnership & Paris 2024 (50%)
- Manage the European brand Campaign per Region and follow up on the day-to-day activities. This includes the local set up of the defined programs as well as coordinating the activities within the various departments in the HQ.
- Manage the regions to leverage our Olympic activation efficiently and further build our campaign.
- Manage the approval process between BS & IOC.
- In the context of Paris 2024, be an active member of the activation plan (e.g.: Employees Engagement program)
- European Platforms: B-Olympic Plartform (35%)
- Develop with our agency the internal employee platform promoting an healthy and active lifestyle and manage its roll-out with all the EMIA regions.
- Budget Control (5%)
- Manage and keep track of the Brand Activation & Sponsoring budget, including timely reporting and pro-active steering where possible
- Agencies & Bridgestone regions Management (10%)
- Coordinate multiple agencies or Bridgestone Regions to achieve smooth, on-time and on-budget implementation tasks/projects.
- Agency scope includes: content production, content and data input, copywriting, translations, web development, budget negotiation.
- Bridgestone countries includes: brand activation programs, communication and field development, budget alignment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor or Master in Marketing, Communication, Events, Advertising,Media
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in marketing/communication/Sponsorship
- English: Excellent written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage (especially French)
- Overall: Team Player, Adaptable, Flexible, Creative, Patient, Service minded, Taking Ownership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
