Job Purpose

 

Within this role you will be a key member of the Truck and Bus OE (Original Equipment) team in our headquarters. You will have end-to-end responsibility on the forecast process, add value through analysis and provide general operational support. Besides this you will be the key window within our organization for the Trailer OE business and will work in close collaboration with the regions.

 

Responsibilities

 

Forecast

  • Full responsibility on the monthly forecast cycle.
  • Translating EDI inputs from OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and forecasts from sales people (for smaller OEMs) into realistic forecast as input to logistics division (by customer, by month, by product). Relation to sales organization, LSCM, IT, manufacturing, etc.
  • Crisis management to react on sudden increases for items to OEMs.
  • Influence (internal/external) stakeholders to take ownership on providing quality data for the forecast

 

Expert of the OMP system

  • Involved in continuous improvement of the E2E forecasting process.

 

Analysis

  • Sales and forecast data (accuracy) to steer and improve future data. Share reports on evolution, results and present key findings.
  • Ability to translate data into trends and recommendations to stakeholders (sales, production, management).

 

Operational coordination

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through smooth business administration.
  • Maintaining master data (product/customers), back office support (orders/invoicing), problem solving, EDI follow-up.  

 

Single coordinator for Trailer and small Truck OE

 

  • Project management on RIM sourcing, tyre assemblies.
  • Master file creation and owner.

 

Co-owner of weekly / monthly meetings

 

  • Driving the agenda, action points follow-up
  • Owner of OE website: correct and updated content.

 

Profile

 

  • Master degree
  • First working experience, preferably within an international environment
  • Proven analytical skills and high level of accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Familiar with the interpretation of numbers and figures from a business point of view
  • Adapt to fast change easily in an efficient way
  • Able to communicate clearly and concise to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
