Job Purpose:


As IT Agile Delivery Manager you provide clear direction and expected goals to Scrum teams. You understand business needs and you manage expectations. You have a complete overview of planned product delivery together with the Product owner and Scrum master. You ensure an impediment-free pathway and are transparent to challenges, providing an action plan to resolve the obstacles. You are accountable for the effective, cross-functional delivery of products using agile/lean techniques. You communicate with one voice to internal and external IT teams. You work in close collaboration with our Subscriptions Services team. This IT role is fully embedded within our fast-growing Mobility Solutions business environment, directly contributing to product development and its business outcome.   • Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently:  Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality for the stage (DEV/TEST/PROD). Communicate overall delivery status and possible impediments to management on a regular basis. Together with the Scrum master react fast and with conviction to remove such impediments.
  • Work with the Product Owners to define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories. Establish solid relationships with the Product Owners and Scrum masters at the tactical level, ensuring that the Product backlog cards are created and issues are synchronized with the electronic ticketing system.
  • Review Scrum team deliverables for compliance with company standards, best practices and sustainable velocity. Review and challenge both functional and technical designs. Oversee testing and provide valid results to business for their final decision. Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process – assessing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team in a Sprint backlog to set a sustainable delivery pace. Keep track of release planning.
  • Manage relationship with (external) IT delivery and infrastructure partners involved. Manage communication and delivery expectations in line with long-term partnerships. Monitor overall progress and performance towards contractual obligations. Identify project staffing requirements and source the required expertise from the IT Capability teams. Bridge the gap between Project Management and Product Delivery.
  • Lead meetings such as weekly IT stream reviews and project kickoffs with external partners. Help to facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint review, Backlog grooming and Sprint retrospective.
  • Ensure successful transfer to operations. Using DevOps methodology ensure final acceptance and handover of products to the Managed Services team.
  • Actively participating in the IT Stream Lead/Delivery Manager community.  Sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge and bringing in best practice of Agile.




  • Degree expected: Master or equivalent in Computer Science.
  • 5 years+ work experience in IT domains such as Project delivery, Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Lead Business Analyst
  • 3 years+ enterprise level experience in agile project management and a track record in rolling-out digital solutions in Agile environments
  • Experience in Agile principles (SCRUM, KANBAN), while successfully managing international integration projects
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle, and experience working with Azure DEVOPS, Trello, Jira or similar tools
  • Having a well-built technical knowledge (architecture, software development, APIs, infrastructure etc.)
  • Knowledge of how to structure complex issues, prioritize them and support their implementation
  • Experienced with working with outsourced solution and service delivery partner
  • Work experience with Azure cloud platforms and DevOps is a plus
  • Previous work experience in delivering subscription platform software is a plus
  • Previous work experience in a pan-European multi-lingual environment is a plus
