ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

The Trade Marketing Specialist supports the execution of Trade Marketing activities, contributing to the effective implementation of trade initiatives, promotional plans and point-of-sale activations.

The role focuses on operational execution, localization of materials, coordination with internal teams and external partners, and support to ongoing trade marketing programs, ensuring consistency, timeliness and quality of delivery.

The position works in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to support business priorities and day-to-day trade marketing needs.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Trade Marketing Execution

Support the execution of Trade Marketing initiatives in line with approved plans and priorities

Contribute to sell-in and sell-out promotional activities and trade programs

Support the rollout of campaigns and initiatives, ensuring correct and timely execution

Ensure alignment between trade marketing activities and sales needs

 

2. POS, Materials & Trade Assets

Support the localization and adaptation of trade marketing materials and POS assets

Ensure consistency and correct usage of materials in line with brand and product guidelines

Support activations, events and commercial initiatives from a trade marketing perspective

Act as operational support between central guidelines and local execution

 

3. Tools, Platforms & Reporting Support

Support the use and monitoring of trade marketing tools and digital platforms

Assist in data collection and basic performance tracking of trade initiatives

Support reporting activities related to trade marketing execution and results

 

4. Coordination & Project Support

Support coordination with external agencies and suppliers involved in trade marketing activities

Assist in managing timelines, deliverables and operational follow-ups

Ensure smooth day-to-day collaboration with internal stakeholders

 

5. Budget Support

Support monitoring of trade marketing budget at initiative level

Track expenses and commitments in collaboration with the Trade Marketing team and Finance

Ensure accuracy and timely update of budget tracking tools

 

Education

University degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration or similar

 

Experience

1–3 years of experience in Trade Marketing or operational marketing roles

Experience in environments with strong POS, promotional or commercial execution is a plus

 

Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of Trade Marketing execution

Analytical mindset and ROI measurement capabilities.

Understanding of sell-in and sell-out mechanisms

Experience with POS materials and trade activations

Good organizational and coordination skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Languages

Italian: fluent (written & spoken)

English: professional (written & spoken)
