Job Purpose
The Trade Marketing Specialist – Retail Consumer Italy plays a key role in the execution of Trade Marketing plans for the Retail Consumer channel in Italy. The position contributes to sell-in and sell-out promotional activities, strengthens brand visibility at POS, and ensures the localization of sales enablement assets and digital tools.
You will also coordinate customer incentive trips and client events, ensuring flawless execution and high customer engagement, while working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external service providers to deliver impactful initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Implementation of Trade Marketing Plans
· Support the execution of trade marketing initiatives for the Retail Consumer channel
· Contribute to sell-in and sell-out promotional activities
· Ensure consistent communication and alignment with internal and external stakeholders
· Participate in visits to retailers and partners to present trade marketing initiatives
2. Localization of Assets & POS/Digital Materials
· Localize and adapt sales enablement assets and POS/Digital materials for the Italian market
· Ensure brand visibility at POS in line with product priorities
· Support activations, openings, and customer events
· Integrate brand activation tools as sell-in/sell-out levers
3. Integration of Digital Tools
· Support the management and monitoring of digital platforms for sell-in/sell-out activities
· Collect and analyze performance data, highlighting improvement opportunities
· Contribute to the rollout of new features and marketing automation workflows
4. ROI and Effectiveness Measurement
· Apply ROI measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing activities
· Provide reporting on quantitative and qualitative objectives, focusing on Retail Consumer products
· You will help ensure that all initiatives deliver measurable value and support business growth
Education, Master, other certification:
University degree in Economics, Marketing, or Business Administration
Experience (years):
Minimum 3 years in Trade Marketing, preferably in Automotive or Tyre industry, or in other industries with strong retail and POS dynamics.
Technical Skills:
Marketing knowledge, solid expertise in Trade & Channel Marketing activities
Market, channel and end-user understanding
Knowledge of POS trade activities
Digital tools knowledge (B2B/B2C platforms)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Analytical mindset and ROI measurement basics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with strong focus on reporting and presentation skills
