POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job purpose

Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager, he/she contributes to design and implements the value proposition for the different retail affiliation programs; he/she manages and executes yearly marketing plans and initiatives, promotions and events that have impact on sales and customer engagement.

He/she also manages assigned marketing budget accordingly, focusing on ROI.

 

Main responsibilities

 

  1. Value Proposition and Trade Marketing programs
  • For the Commercial Retail channel (truck/bus, agriculture, retread and off-road) , define and implement the most effective VP in light of our Premium Strategy to achieve company target and objectives, working in close collaboration with Sales and other company departments
  • Define and implement the Network VP based on customers profile and define the set of services/tools to support company’s goals increasing customers satisfaction and engagement.
  • Continuously monitor network performances and customers KPIs to ensure consistency with the assigned affiliation program. Monitor and report performances, in/out/scrap management.
  • Maintain and develop digital marketing platforms B2B/B2C according to marketing strategy / goals.
  • Develop and execute E2E Marketing Plan according to channel characteristics in coordination with Bridgestone EMIA and Regional Departments.
  • Capture market needs to consequently adjusting plan according to market characteristics and supporting Premium / Mix Strategy

 

  1. Promotions and Events
  • In close collaboration with pricing, define and implement promotional activities to boost sell-in/out sales. Monitor e report results, prepare countermeasure through PDCA Cycle.
  • Work closely with PR, Brand and Product department to support local and corporate events/shows/exhibition in order to enhance product and brand awareness / power

 

  1. Marketing Budget Management
  • Plan and monitor marketing budget based on turnover weight, strategic approach / priorities and marketing plan activities.
  • Match EMIA guidelines, local requirements and business needs to ensure proper budget use through activities ROI and continuous monitoring of the spending

 

  1. Operation Excellence
  • Excel in operations, working on synergies and sharing best practices.
  • Create and manage lean processes, in line with companies policies and instill a culture of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop automation and simplification.
  • Grant efficient supplier management, with proper and careful monitoring.

 

Work Experience and Required capabilities

 

  • University Degree preferably in Economics / Marketing / Business Administrations / Communication.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing in a multi-national organization. Automotive/tyre sector of provenience is a plus.
  • Customer care approach and business acumen, with strong analytical skills.
  • Teamwork and flexibility in working with and influencing cross functional teams, experience in large matrix organizations is a plus.
  • Good IT knowledge, inclined to process digitalization.
  • Good Project management skills.
  • Effective Presentation skills both in Italian and in English for external stakeholder (Dealers, Consumers, fleets) and internal at different level of Management.
  • Shows serious commitment to accountability and ownership, commitment to transparency, agility, flexibility.
  • Fluent in Italian and English languages, both oral and written.

 

Additional informations

Willing to travel up to 15% of the time in Italy or abroad (countries part of the South Region, Brussels).
