 About the Role

Job Purpose

Consumer Tire business is transforming and Tire and Tire centric solutions are becoming strategic products for our Customers. In this quick changing environment, OEMs are playing an important role and therefore, maintaining current strategic alliances and develop new accounts is a priority for Bridgestone. For this position we are looking for a candidate who will take Account responsibility of the PC4 OE Consumer Engineering for Stellantis within the EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the PC4 OE Consumer Engineering activities for Stellantis accounts
  • Close collaboration with Sales Department to secure smooth account management at both Global and Regional levels
  • Obtain on time clear and precise technical requirements from the OEM, keeping our technical centers and other involved departments informed of all the details of the projects and their evolution
  • Regular face to face meetings arrangement with OEMs to follow up projects advance, new introductions and new trends. This includes regular reporting to Top Management
  • Technical and Quality responsibilities, from homologation to mass production phases. Support and act as window for all quality issues and industrialization activities (PPAP & QPRs management)
  • Manage technical documentation by using available tools (Data Base & SharePoint) in close collaboration with Operations Team
  • Being involved in multiple CFT (Cross Functional Teams) meetings within BS Corporation during development as representative of OE Engineering or being OEM voice within our company
  • Project Management responsibilities to ensures timely and efficient completion of engineering activities, to achieve identified engineering and product integrity business plan objectives
  • Detect new business opportunities following generic trends at OEMs and in the market, supporting medium & long term plans  elaboration
  • Lead & perform required activities on both short-term and mid-long-term to support Consumer business success in Europe
  • Accelerate engagement with new Emerging OEMs & Start-Ups and liaise with new Horizontal Players team
  • Act as “Sustainability OE function”: facilitator and voice of OE in the Sustainability forums within our Organization. Coordinate and put together all actions at the speed required by our OEMs

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience Required

 

Education, Master, other certification:

Bachelor/master degree in Engineering

 

Experience (years):

Minimum 5 years in an international R&D/Engineering position

 

Technical Skills:

Strong track record of success within R&D/Engineering, ideally within the Automotive industry

 

Languages Skills:

Fluent in English is mandatory. Italian and French is highly recommended

 

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

  • You have exceptional customer oriented mindset with the ability to build up relation with new key clients
  • Results driven, highly organized, calm in stressful situations and ability to work in a matrix environment
  • You have strong negotiation skills with demonstrated experience in dealing with challenging environments
  • You demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

The salary range is based on gender-neutral criteria: applicable CCNL  requirements, responsibilities, working conditions and market benchmarks for the role and location. Final compensation will be determined based on gender-neutral criteria: experience, skills, and internal equity.

JOB RANGE: 45.157,45 € - 72.500 €
