The role is critical in ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of products to our customers while supporting continuous improvement, high service levels, and operational excellence across the supply chain.

You will act as the bridge between internal stakeholders (supply planning, customer service, inventory management) and external logistics providers, playing a vital role in managing performance, solving operational challenges, and ensuring data integrity throughout the logistics process.

Main responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the South Region Logistics Team by overseeing third-party logistics providers (3PLs), ensuring they meet Bridgestone’s performance standards while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Lead import logistics operations for containers, ensuring smooth coordination with customs brokers to guarantee timely customs clearance and compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage and liaise with carriers and freight forwarders, including those operating in non-EU countries, ensuring service reliability, performance, and alignment with operational needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Planning and Customer Service teams to manage logistics capacity and throughput based on demand and supply flows.
  • Monitor and support daily logistics operations, proactively identifying and resolving service or process issues to ensure seamless delivery performance and high customer satisfaction.
  • Set priorities for inbound activities and manage inbound schedules in coordination with suppliers and logistics partners.

  • Ensure accurate and consistent data across warehousing and logistics systems, including ERP (e.g., SAP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and transportation tracking tools.
  • Oversee and maintain inventory accuracy, including stock control, in-transit inventory tracking, discrepancy investigation and resolution, and Date of Term (DOT) management.
  • Support the generation and analysis of logistics KPIs and reports as part of monthly governance, contributing to data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in and support logistics and supply chain improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, service reliability, and data accuracy.

Capabilities

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic operational environments.
  • Highly numerate and data-driven, with the ability to interpret complex logistics data and translate insights into operational improvements.
  • Comfortable working with ERP and logistics systems; knowledge of SAP, WMS, TMS, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to stakeholder management.
  • Resilient and flexible, capable of adapting to new challenges and evolving priorities.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken is a must requirement due to close collaboration with stakeholders in HQ and in other markets.
  • Project management mindset, with an ability to manage tasks across multiple stakeholders and deadlines

Preferred Experience

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related operational roles.
