 Job purpose

At Bridgestone South Region level for Consumer products - in particular Car and Motorcycle – s/he will support the Product Marketing Professional in developing an effective product strategy with end-to-end approach, improving product awareness (internally and externally), enhancing sales product mix and value. Provide Product intelligence analysis and sales tool in order to enhance decision taking and execution phase. Deploy Demand Planning providing the right tyre at the right time in the right place by managing adding value to Logistic and Sales team.
S/he will be responsible of Lineup Management, Demand Planning, Product Marketing Materials preparation and E2E product management with focus on Motorcycle Products.
S/he will work strictly in contact with Bridgestone Europe (BSEU) and Regional departments: Business Planning, Pricing, LSCM, Sales, Trade and Brand Marketing.


Main responsibilities


  1. Demand Planning
  • Manage demand planning activities implementing the process at regional level in coordination with BSEU DP and Regional departments (Business Planning, Sales, LSCM, Pricing)
  • Input for SOR monthly forecast by IPC (PC4 and MC) according to the Sales Demand Forecast to predict rolling 18 months on the basis of customers’ RDD.
  • Forecast Accuracy review: KPIs monitoring, RCA and corrective actions.
  • Manage DRM to present YTG forecast input and YTD Forecast error analysis to BSEU DP SOR.


  1. Pricelist, lineup management
  • E2E lineup management aiming to reduce complexity of the market offer through Pricelist management: lineup definition, IPC activation, PLM/phase-out and NPI/phase-in.
  • Support LSCM department in stock management, reducing SMDS through accurate planning and tactical actions.
  • Support Sales and LSCM department to define stock & availability status, alternative IPC analysis.
  • Promote Rationalization and Simplification projects in the region.


  1. Product Analysis and Intelligence
  • Deliver competitors Product lineup analysis providing up-to-date information and (gap analysis, improvements plan, profitability analysis, etc).
  • Analyze Europool Sell-in, GfK Sell-out data, Line-up study, Competitors analysis at brand, season, application, rim, size level.
  • Product mix sales reports and Dashboarding implementation from total to size level.
  • Spread internal market knowledge exploiting market intelligence reports (eg: Gipa, Lizeo, Ad hoc survey etc.).
  • Product performances benchmarking, test results analysis
  • Ad hoc product and market analysis.


  1. Product launches and Go to Market
  • Support the E2E product launches and GTM definition according to Country/Channel characteristics collaborating with Product Marketing Professional and Regional departments: Business Planning, LSCM, Trade, Brand, Pricing, Sales.
  • Support the definition of Product USP and Value proposition, Internal and External communication in coordination with PR, Trade and Brand departments.
  • Analyze market needs to consequently support the definition of the proper product GTM according to country/channel characteristics.
  • Monitor High Value Product sales performances during whole product lifecycle.


  1. Product Marketing Materials and Communication
  • Manage, in collaboration with BSEMIA, all product marketing materials to support product awareness and knowledge : brochure & product materials, POS materials and tools to dealers, sales tool for BS staff, support PR in development of product communication.
  • Implement on effective on-line and off-line product communication to transfer Product Power internally and externally to Customers and Boss leveraging on High Value Products.
  • Support Brand and Trade department to local and corporate events and shows/exhibition in order to enhance product awareness and power.
  • Support Field Engineering Department in preparation of training session plan to internal and external audience (Sales Force, Internal Departments, Dealers) in order to assure proper product knowledge.


  1. E2E Product Management – MC Products
  • Coordinate new product launches defining E2E plan for a proper market introduction in coordination with BSEU, Local Sales Manager, LSCM and Logistic departments
  • Manage Product USP, Value proposition, prepare product marketing materials and an effective internal and external communication plan and Trainings.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager, Trade, LSCM and Pricing department to define the proper product market introduction, actions, campaigns.
  • Product and Market analysis and reporting to monitor product performances, competitors and market movements during whole product lifecycle.    


  1. Budget & MTP support
  • During OB/MTP process contribute to product marketing plan definition, support Masterplan and DUMS preparation providing accurate information and presentation materials to support corporate strategy and strategic initiatives turning product and market knowledge from units/MS to IPC-market level.          
  • OB by IPC input during OB cycle for all countries, PC4 & MC products.
  • Support rolling meeting materials preparation (i.e. RBR) for content related to High Value Product and Demand Planning.
  • Participate to Monthly meeting with Sales (i.e. S&M meeting) contributing with different materials: analysis, plan, tools.
  • Manage BSEU requests for product investigation: volume estimates, future potential in the market, customer survey (VOD).


  1. Cross-department collaboration and customer centricity
  • Implement Product Specialist Role in SOR organization within Marketing Operations & Network department favoring cross-department interactions, consumer-commercial cooperation to exploit best practices, grant back-up and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to favor the report automation, processes implementations focusing on Customer Centricity and High Value Products.
  • Plan touch point with sales team and customer to embed customer centricity in our operations.


Required capabilities

  • Degree in Economics, Marketing, Business administration, as preference
  • Demand Planning and Forecasting techniques
  • Business acumen
  • Excel: very high proficiency
  • English proficiency and Italian mother tongue is a must



  • Min 3 years in Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Market research
  • Experience in multinational organization, in international and matrix environment.
  • Know-how of B2B or B2C environment, automotive & spare parts preferred.
  • Good English skills are required.
  • High end skills in presenting at Management level, with customer/sales team.
  • Very good excel skills required.
