Job Purpose

Acts as a single point of contact for all Strategic (incl. demand management, development roadmaps), Tactical (incl. portfolio management, project governance) and Operational (incl. Service escalation, continues improvement) IT matters.

Actively contributes to the sales targets and supports expense and profitability targets established and agreed with Regional Management teams by ensuring high level of IT services provided by external partner, promoting IT services among the regions and supporting the business in identifying possible IT solutions for new business processes or enhancements.

As a part of matrix IT Business Partner organization, build the bridge between regional/local markets and Central Business Partner group. Identify the countries’ specifics and local priorities to properly present them to cross-regional team. Enhance the proper prioritizing of the local/regional and centrally managed projects.

At least, support and suggest the evolution of our workplace in future digital workplace thanks to state of the art solutions.



  1. Customer Centricity:
  • develop and maintain intimacy with business, be a strong partner for the business for all IT matters. Ensure regular communication with business stakeholders
  • be the voice of the business towards IT and the voice of IT towards business
  • understand business requirements and objectives and recommend possible solutions
  • act as ambassador for IT towards the business for the implementation of changes in processes and services
  • increase IT awareness in the business
  • keep track of technology & process changes in the tyres’ industry and outside


  1. IT Services:
  • Promote IT services catalogue in the location/area of responsibility
  • understand and communicate desired service levels to the service owners. Ensure SLA’s are in place with the business for the services consumed in the location/area of responsibility
  • monitor proper use of IT solutions by department/business area
  • facilitate roll-outs and footprint expansion of existing solutions
  • follow evolution of services and pro-actively suggest potential improvements to the service owners
  • regularly review external provider performance for the region based on agreed SLA’s
  • where required, act as point of escalation. Escalate issues to external provider and within Bridgestone according to the existing IT processes


  1. Portfolio Management :
  • act as project coordinator for deployment of European projects in the region following the IT governance processes
  • contribute in the initial phases of project initiation including requirements definition, supplier screening support and selection process
  • run pilot projects
  • follow project progress and communicate to the local business stakeholders
  • support negotiations of new contracts or contract renewals with 3rd party providers in the countries


  1. IT Demand:
  • identify all IT demand in the location/area of responsibility and feed back to the Strategic Business Partner
  • provide input on market initiatives for budgeting purposes
  • review customers‘ demands and advise on new functionalities and future directions of the developments
  • ensure adequate input from business, especially in terms of prioritization, resource availability and definition of expected business benefits for requested & planned projects

Education (type & level): Master degree in IT and/or BA

Professional certification(s) : Project management – recommended;  AGILE – recommended

Professional experience : IT Business Partner, Coordinator – min 5 years experiences

Relationship Management, IT Project Coordination, IT Business Analyst, Service Delivery Manager


Ideally, the candidate has gained knowledge of both, the technical and the business aspects of a company’s processes in his/her previous jobs:


  • experience in project management
  • experience analyzing user requirements and presenting possible IT solutions
  • ITIL, service catalog
  • Native Italian, fluent English knowledge (other EU language is an advantage)
  • experience working in complex and changing organization structures requiring cross functional interaction and influence in addition to direct authority to achieve results
  • willingness and ability to travel across Europe
  • customer focus
  • positive attitude
  • excellent relationship skills


IT literacy:

  • SAP/S4 Hana
  • RPA
  • Business applications: EDI, BI, CRM – GOOD KNOWLEDGE
