ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for our new Product Master Data Analyst. You will be responsible for managing the article reference database, including tyres, spare parts, glass and in future body parts, and service-related data with a focus on the French retail entities (First Stop Ayme and Speedy). Your main missions will be:

 

  1. Optimize the article management tool:
    • Launch the tool efficiently, ensuring deadlines and quality are met.
    • Oversee its development and deployment.
  2. Update articles and associated prices (price list and purchase price):
    • Ensure data quality to boost productivity and streamline accounting reconciliation.
    • Play a pivotal role in improving data quality and accessibility for different departments.
  3. Evaluate possible extension of PIM (product information management): extend to additional entities within Europe

 

You will report to our EMEA Retail Solutions & Costumer Service Experience Manager, based in Italy.

Location: France (Rungis, St. Priest or Nanterre), Belgium (Zaventem), Italy, Poland or Spain.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead the project to deliver the tool efficiently, collaborating with IT, purchasing teams and marketing category managers.

 

Workflow Configuration:

    • Ensure proper setup of article creation/deletion workflows.
    • Understand end to end processes between data providers and system users.
    • Interface with country local ERP and external pricing tools.

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Understand and address the requirements of departments such as operations, digital, accounting, purchasing, pricing, and IT to improve the system’s capabilities.

 

Data Management:

  • Follow up with local entity and suppliers, France in the beginning, to regularly update, maintain article data, enrich the database with marketing elements (images, sales pitches, tests, etc.).
  • Pricing: manage with Speedy local purchasing team purchasing price management updates per single sku.

 

Develop Procedures:

  • Establish processes to guarantee data quality and integrity.

 

Reporting:

  • Follow up on reporting and define KPIs to monitor the tool efficiency and database status.

 

Technological Vigilance:

  • Stay informed on best practices and industry advancements.

 

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification:

  • Bachelors or Master Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Management, Business Analytics or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in master data management, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Project management expertise
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Experience in the automotive sector, especially tyres, is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Database management experience, ideally in the automotive aftermarket sector.
  • Familiarity with article management tools and information systems (ERP, PIM) is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and other data management tools.

Management Skills:

  • Knowledge of automotive product data management standards and norms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Languages Skills:

  • French proficiency is a must have, very good English skills in spoken and written are mandatory.

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

  • Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Autonomy and proactivity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
