ABOUT THE ROLE

 Job description:
You ensure excellent and consistent planning by integrating customer requirements, inventory levels, order processing, and logistics processes. You act as a strategic interface between key customers, sales (KAM), and internal supply chain functions to guarantee a high level of service, optimize inventory levels, and drive continuous improvement.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Key logistics contact person for strategic customers and sales KAM
  • Order processing in accordance with the Order Book Policy
  • Logistics handling, process optimization and ensuring service levels for key accounts in the major customer sector
  • Teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration, especially with sales, product and inventory management, the plants and the local CS/LSCM management
  • Participation and active collaboration in the S&OP process as well as systematic, data-focused analysis of existing supply chains with upstream functions (production, sales, central planning)
  • Proactive identification of potential improvements and implementation of recommendations for action
  • Optimization of order book management processes in SAP S/4HANA with a focus on automating repetitive standard processes.
  • Implementation of supply chain projects for the continuous improvement and efficiency of the value chain based on customer requirements.
  • Creation and tracking of relevant performance indicators

 

Required qualifications and professional experience

Education, Master's degree, other certification:

  • They have completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk and have further education at the HF/FH level in the field of logistics or supply chain management.

Professional experience (years):

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in an international supply chain organization
  • Experience in a matrix organization is an advantage.

 

Technical/Functional Capabilities:

  • High competence in handling ERP systems (preferably SAP SD/MM).
  • Experience with planning tools
  • Good Excel skills are an advantage.

 

Language skills:

  • Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.

 

Soft Skills / Behavioral skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
  • A strong personality, a proactive approach to daily challenges, and a " hands- on" mentality.
