Reports directly to the Sales Director Netherlands
OTR: Off-the-Road tires or EM: Earth Moving tires, also known as “construction and heavy-duty tires”.
Purpose of the Role
- Promote and develop OTR sales activities in the Netherlands with OTR retailers.
- Provide technical follow-up on tires with end-users in the Netherlands.
- Manage relationships with consistency and quality, actively promoting our products and services.
- Manage and develop high-potential customers.
- Manage and develop terminals, ports, and OTR end-users.
Your Responsibilities
Sales
- Achieve sales targets in volume and operational profit.
- Ensure forecasting and availability in collaboration with Bridgestone Europe.
- Full follow-up of orders and deliveries from start to finish.
- Develop potential and in-house share with existing customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers.
- Identify and resolve customer issues.
Customer Relations
- Visit major existing OTR customers.
- Visit smaller OTR customers to present products.
- Visit OTR end-users (ports, mines) to set up tests and share technical product information.
- Visit Bridgestone O.E. customers in collaboration with Bridgestone Europe.
- Provide interactive product training to customers.
Internal & External Communication
- Collect and share market information with the Sales Director.
- Participate in sales, technical, and forecast meetings to discuss results, availability, and sales plans.
- Communicate new products, services, special developments, or field feedback to relevant internal departments.
- Maintain contact with customer service, warehouse, forecast team, and sales administration.
Marketing & Promotion
- Support promotions, campaigns, and incentives.
- Communicate with the marketing and technical departments.
Who Are You?
- Education: Higher education. MBO level or equivalent based on experience.
- Preferably professional experience in the OTR/EM sector or a related industry such as machinery or automotive.
- Language: Excellent command of Dutch (all customer communication is in Dutch, both spoken and written).
- Good knowledge of English, the official language within Bridgestone.
- Strong communication, commercial, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical knowledge and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proactive and hands-on attitude, both in the field and at the office.
