ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Account Manager reporting directly to the Sales Director Netherlands.

 

Job Purpose

 

  • Promote and develop sales activities at assigned accounts in the region North/East Netherlands.
  • Manage relation with quality and consistency and promote actively our products and service.
  • Manage & develop customers with a high potential in the region.

 

Main Responsibilities 


SALES

 

  •  Achieve sales ambition in target and follow up.
  • Develop potential and “in house share” at existing customers.
  • Attract high potential new customers.
  • Improve brand mix and high rim inch share.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.

 

CUSTOMER RELATIONS

 

  • Visit existing retail outlets and distributors depots on a regular base in a defined area in order to sell and promote our products.
  • Follow up on possible credit issues with customers.
  • Identify prospects and set up a visit plan.
  • Provide interactive product training with customers.


COMMUNICATION INTERNAL/EXTERNAL

 

  • Gather market information and communicate towards sales manager.
  • Attend sales meetings in order to discuss results and strategies.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Contact with sales desk & sales administration.


MARKETING & PROMOTION

 

  • Support promotions, campaigns and incentives.
  • Communication with marketing department.


Required Capabilities & Experience

 

  • Education: Higher education. MBO level or similar due to experience.
  • Excellent level of Dutch (all customer communication will be in Dutch, both verbally and written).
  • Preferable professional experience within the automotive or a related relevant industry as a 1st working experience.
  • Good knowledge of English, official language at Bridgestone.
  • A first experience in a position as external sales representative or a related commercial role.
  • Strong communication skills, commercial & social skills.
  • Good negotiator.
  • Profit driven.
  • Gives proof of autonomy & initiative.
  • Customer minded.
  • Proactive & hands-on.
