About the Role

 

Job Purpose

The Human Resources Generalist is a professional who oversees the HR responsibilities and activities in the Technology Center.  You manage recruitment processes, employee relations, training and development as well as supporting talent management and specific projects related to your location.

To accomplish this you play a pivotal role to support your HR Business Partner for your location or entity and are the point of contact for employees and managers.

The role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional or boring! You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks and you will use Human Resources Information Systems like SuccessFactors and other tools to generate reports and to work with the local payroll and HR admin team(s) to safeguard data quality and consistency. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. 

The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole and to offer employees a good experience and dynamic.

 

Responsibilities:

You will work closely with the HRBP, COE and People Solutions teams  who are looking after HR processes to optimize the Employee Experience in our organization You will be the person locally who will implement and roll out initiatives as designed by HRBP or CoE .  You will have a direct reporting line to the local HR Business Partner. 

 

Your responsibilities are:

 

Recruitment: In line with headcount budget, guarantee both the quantity and quality of the hiring, Ensure the recruitment approach is consistent with the company strategy and being responsible for the recruitment process in the local organization according to Company Recruiting Procedure. Support the managers in defining the right profile in line with regional business context and in the creation of the job requisition in the system.

 

Internships & Apprentices: 

-Management of all contacts and agreements with University, Public Institutions, Internship Desk, etc in order to maintain the active network and to guarantee the Internship positions are covered in time and based on specific learning project;

-Management of the university posting and activation of all Internship; provide data to Payroll  team for the mandatory registration and communication to the institutions (insurance, social services);

 

Employer Branding

  • Build and maintain relationships with universities and academic institutions to promote the company and attract emerging talent.
  • Participate in career days, job fairs, and student events to increase visibility and connect with potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with technical teammates to organize company talks and presentations to showcase our culture, values, and career opportunities to students and graduates.

 

Training & Development process

Support the delivery of the Performance and Talent Management processes in the system in order to enhance people empowerment in the local organization and in line with the Company’s strategy

- Performance Management Process: 

Support HRBP in managing the process and operational activities in SuccessFactors.

Support employees/Manager as needed, during the full performance management cycle

 

-Talent Management

Supporting HRBP in managing the process

 

-Training & Development

- Perform the Development Plan analysis in order to define Trainings Needs

- Support HRBP in the annual Training Plan definition, implementation and monitoring

- Support HRBP and business units in implementing the Development programs; manage the Training calendar and provide the correct info to Learning Management System Admin in order to upload and record all the training events in the Learning Management System ;

- Funded education plans management

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of funded training initiatives ( Fondimpresa and Fondirigenti), from plan opening and execution to reporting and closure.
  • Coordinate closely with external consultants to ensure compliance with funding requirements and timely delivery of training activities.
  • Monitor progress, collect documentation, and support reporting processes to maximize funding opportunities and ensure successful plan completion.

Facilitate workshops and trainings on specific corporate related topics in co-operation with HRBP.

 

Internal and External Audits

  • Monitor  the quality and success of the training through specific tools (KPI)  in line with ISO requirements and Quality Manual Statement.  Preparation the documentation and management of internal/external audits.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related matters.
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures relevant for the location in order to be compliant.

 

International Mobility  

Support the Internal mobility process execution in an environment that is continuously looking and supporting international mobility, as well as bringing people onboard with diverse background in terms of culture and nationalities.

 

Employees Engagement & Survey Management

  • Support the launch and coordination of employee engagement initiatives, including Pulse surveys and the annual engagement survey.
  • Analyse survey results and collaborate with managers to share insights and identify key focus areas.
  • Contribute to the development of action plans and help implement targeted initiatives that respond to employee feedback and foster a positive workplace culture.

 

 

Others

  • Support local CSR activities
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activities as preparation for works council meetings
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
  • Support onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews
  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies
  • Good networking and interaction with peers and other HR pillars as well as leaders In the organization

 

Qualifications & Experience Required

 

Education, Master, other certification:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Labour Relations, Business, or any other related field

Experience (years):

  • 3-5 years in HR Talent or in generalist role
  • You have a broad knowledge of and interest in HR, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation.
  • Experience in an international and process driven environment
  • Labor Law experience desirable

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems like SuccessFactors, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed

Languages Skills:

  • Fluent in both spoken and written Italian and English
